What is ThoughtBuzz?
ThoughtBuzz is a feature-rich, web-based application that provides social media monitoring for your company, brand or product. It is a platform for users to hear and engage with their customers and brand ambassadors across the internet.
What content does ThoughtBuzz provide?
Currently ThoughtBuzz provides content from the following sources: blogs and forums, social networking sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn, review sites such as Amazon and CNET, and Q&A sites such as Yahoo Q&A and Twitter. ThoughtBuzz does not depend on third party API feeds for data collection and has its own crawlers for data extraction. ThoughtBuzz also maps blogs, forums, Facebook posts and Twitter users country-wise to provide social media analytics for different markets. This classification is based on context which is more accurate than tools which use IP address for classification.
What if I want to provide my own list of sources?
ThoughtBuzz supports custom sources. If content from your sources is not available out of the box, you can provide us with the list and we will add it to our indexing database.
What about multiple languages?
ThoughtBuzz processes and understands multi-lingual content. We provide social media analytics for English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Malaysia. Support for Vietnamese will be available soon.
What is real time?
For very popular sites such as Twitter, Facebook and top blogs, any new content is indexed almost real time. For external sites access is as fast as their APIs.
How do alerts work?
Any user can receive email alerts daily for any saved search. The alerts can contain positive, negative or neutral articles. Email alerts are sent out daily.
What browser do we support?
We support IE7 and above, Firefox 3 and above, Opera and Safari. We don't support IE6.
What kinds of support you offer?
We provide support through email at support@thoughtbuzz.net. All our clients receive a dedicated account manager and training.
What Facebook analytics does ThoughtBuzz provide?
ThoughtBuzz currently provides Facebook analytics for Facebook Fan Pages. These include analytics for engagement, content and interaction. In addition to this, we also provide Facebook user demographics. Using the ThoughtBuzz dashboard, clients can view, reply, like and post updates and manage their Fan pages.
What is the Twitter Dashboard?
The Twitter Dashboard enables clients to search, direct message, mention and post Twitter updates directly from the ThoughtBuzz application. Twitter analytics are not provided separately at the moment, but are included as a part of the overall social media analytics. Separate analytics for Twitter are in the works and will be introduced in the near future.
Can I upload my own custom sources?
Currently users cannot upload their custom sources from the ThoughtBuzz dashboard. Instead, they can send the list over to the ThoughtBuzz team who would then add it into the system in 24 hours. The data from these custom sources would then be available in the dashboard for the user to see within 24-48 hours.
What is the difference between Global and Local tracking?
There are times when a user only requires results from a specific country or region. ThoughtBuzz refers to this as Local tracking. Global tracking would provide results from anywhere across the world. Clients can choose to track globally or locally when they are setting up keywords for tracking.
Does ThoughtBuzz provide special packages for Agencies?
ThoughtBuzz understands that agencies work with a number of clients simultaneously and therefore need more flexible and customised options compared to brands. ThoughtBuzz provides agency specific packages. Email us at contactus@thoughtbuzz.net for more details.
Does ThoughtBuzz provide a Workflow for teams?
ThoughtBuzz has an Enterprise-Grade Workflow for teams that are working on the same project. The Workflow feature in the ThoughtBuzz application allows team members to flag items and assign it to specific team members for further action. This feature also enables ''sharing'' on Twitter and Facebook and provides translation to English, if a post is in a non-English language. |
